Meet Marissa: A Journey of Purpose and Sustainability with Bubble Baby

Hello, I'm Marissa, the proud founder of Bubble Baby. I am from the beautiful state of Nebraska and currently reside in the thumb of Michigan. At 24 years old, I embarked on a journey when my daughter was just two months old: Bubble Baby, a sustainable and purpose-driven company.

I have always had a profound concern for the future of our planet. Even during my childhood, I found myself brainstorming ways to make a difference, seeking ways to combat the environmental challenges we face. It was during my pregnancy, as I excitedly filled my daughter's wardrobe with bamboo fabric, that I noticed a significant accumulation of plastic waste from the orders I received. This experience deeply impacted me and intensified my resolve to fight against single-use plastics.

In July 2022, with my precious daughter by my side, I founded Bubble Baby. Our company was born out of a desire to provide sustainable alternatives to traditional baby products, with a particular focus on reducing plastic waste. Bamboo fabric became the centerpiece of our offerings due to its unique properties and environmental benefits. However, I faced a dilemma—I wanted our packaging to be just as sustainable as our products. While compostable alternatives seemed promising, I recognized the potential compromise to the shelf stability of our bamboo fabric. This led me on a research journey that ultimately led to the discovery of the D2w alternative—a breakthrough solution that aligned perfectly with our mission.

At Bubble Baby, we believe that sustainability is not just a buzzword but a way of life. To us, it means more than just producing eco-friendly baby products; it's about making a positive impact on our community and the planet. With each collection we release, we carefully select and support unique charities and organizations. Our focus is on smaller, community-driven initiatives and those that have directly helped people in our community. Bubble Baby also plants a tree for every single product we sell. We firmly believe that by giving back, we can contribute to the betterment of our planet for the sake of our children's future.

As a mother to a 16-month-old daughter, my ultimate priority is to raise loving, kind children who understand the importance of environmental stewardship and social responsibility. Bubble Baby serves as a platform for me to instill these values in my own family while spreading awareness among our customers and community. Together, we can make a difference—one sustainable choice at a time.
